Physical access

So just how wide should doors be again?

Ensuring physical access to the buildings and spaces you own and use is one of the most obvious ways of improving access and inclusion. Physical access isn’t just about ramps and toilets though. Lighting, heating and seating are the most important access elements for a majority of disabled people.

You can check out some of the video case studies on this site – Aspex Gallery talk about their access and Pallant House talk about their access focus group.
