Over £820,000 awarded to disabled artists for Cultural Olympiad programme Unlimited

More than £820,000 funding has been awarded to Unlimited, the groundbreaking London 2012 programme celebrating arts and culture by disabled and deaf artists, in the latest round of major commissions.

The portfolio include funding for more than 10,000 individually crafted ceramic flowers, a bipolar circus, Mad Gyms and Kitchens, work on inflatable stuctures and smart phones and performances in the air, water and on land.

13 more commissions have been added to the original 10, all creating work which should be showcased to welcome the world in 2012 showing world class art by disabled artists.
